Simple Easter Decorating

The older I get, the more I fall in love with Easter, and Easter decor. Honestly, what’s not to love about bunnies, baby chicks, pastel eggs & carrots everywhere? It’s also a big sign to me that spring is here, and the warmer weather is upon us, so I can’t really help but love it, especially after this (what felt like) long winter, stuck inside & not seeing anyone.

If you’re anything like me, despite the fact that this is probably going to be yet another year where we won’t be allowed to gather, you want to get some decor out to celebrate the season! But, since we won’t be welcoming guests, you might not necessarily want to pull out all of your Easter decor. Well, today’s blog is just for that! Here’s how I would decorate, very simply for this upcoming Easter holiday:

You may or may not be wondering what exactly I mean by “simple” decor for the season. I basically mean, you’re not pulling out your entire Easter decor box, or hitting up Michaels and buying every single item they have — but rather, just adding a pop of the Easter season here & there, with replacing a piece of art on your wall, adding a wreath or maybe even swapping a pillow or two. Something that won’t take you longer than 30 minutes to put up, or take down! Here are some of my personal favourite items:

Are you planning on decorating for the season? I know I definitely have and it just brings me a lot of joy given how difficult this last year has been. It’s crazy to me to think that this will be the second Easter holiday we’ll be spending in a global pandemic, not being able to get together to celebrate. Alas, it is what it is, but I hope you’re ready for some more fun Easter blogs coming at you this week! See you again on Wednesday for a new one.

Until next time... Emily
