My Monthly Favourites for March 2026
It’s another month, which means it’s time to give you all a little update on my favourites for the month of March! Though spring is officially here, and I have fully leaned into the new season, winter is taking it’s time tapering off… That surely isn’t going to stop me from looking forward to warmer weather though! Here are all of my favourites from the month of March:
01. Hatch Restore 3 (🇺🇸) | 02. Seed Starting Kit (🇨🇦) | 03. Dish Cloths (🇨🇦) | 04. Cherry Espadrille Sneakers (🇺🇸) | 05. Chicken Necklace (🇨🇦) | 06. Egg Holder (🇨🇦) | 07. E-Reader Cover (🇨🇦) | 08. A Year in a Cottage Kitchen Cookbook (🇬🇧) | 09. Terracotta Pot (🇸🇪) | 10. Recipe Cards (🇨🇦) | 11. Laundry Bin (🇸🇪)
01. Hatch Restore 3
If you’ve been here before, you know that my love for my Hatch Restore 2 runs deep. Well, I recently was upgraded to the Restore 3, and though there’s not many differences, I didn’t realize I could love this little alarm clock more… but alas, here we are.
02. Seed Starting Kit
Seed starting season is here, and I know I’ve been filling these trays with all of my little flower seedlings. I love that they’re completely reusable, durable, and made in Canada! They come in two sizes, and there’s bundles, so no matter what kind of seeds you’re starting this year, you can get something that works for you.
03. Dish Cloths
Weird, I know, but I love the look of these dish cloths. I’m definitely one of those people that has a favourite pattern, and gingham is my girl! They’re 100% cotton, so I can feel good about using them on my dishes, and they’re very affordable too.
04. Cherry Espadrille Sneakers
I was on the hunt for some new sneakers for the 2026 season, and I wanted something with a little whimsy and fun, which is when I came across these espadrille sneakers from Toms, featuring the most adorable cherry embroidery design all over them (yes, embroidered, not printed!). They’re going to look so cute at the farmer’s market this summer!
05. Chicken Necklace
I swear, one day I will get my flock of chickens! But for now, I’ve got this adorable chicken necklace from a small Canadian business, Birch Jewellery. Plus, a portion of the sale of each necklace goes to a non-profit chicken rescue, Secondhand Stories! If you also love chickens, or know someone who does, this necklace is a must have (plus it comes in silver, and if necklaces aren’t your thing, they have earrings as well!).
06. Egg Holder
There’s a bit of a theme going on here, but I am obsessed with this egg holder. I love the simply, vintage/cottage-inspired design, and though I don’t need it by any means, I fear it might just have to be mine…
07. E-Reader Cover
Whether you’ve got a Kobo, or a Kindle, TLDR the shop has something for you! When looking for a case for my Kobo, I couldn’t seem to find any Canadian shops selling cases that had cute designs that I was looking for, until I came across TLDR the shop! There’s always new designs and products dropping, so I definitely recommend checking them out.
08. A Year in a Cottage Kitchen
Regardless of if you’re plant based or not, this cookbook is absolutely stunning! I know I’m always struggling with what the make for dinner, and I love that this cookbook is broken down by season to give some new inspiration.
09. Terracotta Pot
If there’s one thing about me, I love a terracotta planter pot, and this one from IKEA is no exception. I love how simple it is, but still absolutely beautiful, and can go with a ton of different styles, whether you like a more classic, timeless look in the garden, or a more modern one.
10. Recipe Cards
Lately I’ve been absolutely loving using recipe cards while in the kitchen, especially for recipes that I’m making on a regular basis (i.e., a loaf of bread, jam, etc.). They’re easier to pull out than a whole recipe book, and take up much less counter space. Though cooking while using a phone or tablet can be nice, constantly having to turn the screen on is annoying, and leaving it on the whole time drains your battery like crazy! Call me old fashioned, but I love when it’s written.
11. Laundry Bin
There seems to be a bit of a spring cleaning theme to this month’s favourites, but spring has officially sprung after all! Wicker might be one of my favourite textures visually, and this absolutely stunning laundry bin from IKEA takes the cake as one of my favourites. Though it takes up quite a bit of space, and isn’t the most convenient, she sure is gorgeous!
Another month of 2026 come, and gone! I say this every year, but it really does go by so fast, and keeps getting faster. See you again in April!
