My Monthly Favourites for April 2026
Happy April! It’s really hard to believe we are already one-third of the way through the year… it feels like it was just the holidays, if you ask me. April has been a wonderful month though, and spring has really been showing off. We’re only a few short weeks away now from the return of the farmer’s markets, and the weather is definitely warming up – you can definitely see a lot of these themes in my April favourites, so let’s jump into it!
01. Sun Hat (🇨🇦) | 02. Heirloom Tomato Candles (🇨🇦) | 03. Hunter Wellies (🇬🇧) | 04. French Market Tote (🇲🇦) | 05. Potting Bench (🇬🇧) | 06. Denim Button Down (🇨🇦) | 07. Carrot Candlesticks (🇨🇦) | 08. Lady’s Bicycle (🇺🇸) | 09. Farrow & Ball Breakfast Room Green Paint (🇬🇧) | 10. Garden Hose (🇨🇦)
01. Sun Hat
There’s nothing I love more than a sun hat in the warmer months to really spruce up my outfits while protecting me from the sun! I used to be very anti-hat, but now I’ll take any opportunity to wear one.
02. Heirloom Tomato Candles
Okay, how darn cute are these candles shaped like heirloom tomatoes? It’s such a perfect way to bring nature into your home decor, and you don’t have to worry about them rotting on the table! Plus, when you burn them, you can feel good knowing they aren’t releasing any chemicals since they’re made entirely of beeswax.
03. Hunter Wellies
April showers bring May flowers, and so it’s safe to say I’ve been taking out my Hunter wellies for the wet, muddy weather that April brings.
04. French Market Tote
Farmer’s markets are going to be back so soon, and my French market tote and I will absolutely be ready. I’ve had this tote for a couple of years now, and I just absolutely love it. The quality is fantastic, it holds tons and it’s handmade in Morocco!
05. Potting Bench
2026 is the year we are finally getting a potting bench, and I cannot tell you how excited I am given how much my back hurts when I’m potting up seedlings! This bench is so beautiful, but we plan to take it to the next level with a few DIYs and some paint… keep scrolling to see what colour we chose.
06. Denim Button Down
One of my go-to things in the spring is an oversized denim button down. Not only do I love the way it looks, but it also protects me from the sun and it’s so comfortable for when I’m gardening.
07. Carrot Candlesticks
From the same company that makes the beautiful heirloom tomato candles, there’s also carrot candlesticks! Also made from beeswax, these candles look SO much like actual carrots, I’ve had people ask me why I have carrots in my candlestick holders countless times.
08. Lady’s Bicycle
Last year, I finally got myself a bike after years of not owning one and I can confidently say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done. It’s been so great for my physical and mental health, and it’s just fun to pretend I’m biking around the English countryside!
09. Farrow & Ball Breakfast Room Green Paint
Farrow & Ball’s Breakfast Room Green may be the most perfect, beautiful colour to have ever existed, if you’re asking me… and it’s what we’re going to paint the potting bench! I cannot wait to do this DIY in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that blog.
10. Garden Hose
And last on the list for my April favourites, is this absolutely gorgeous, made in Canada, drinking water safe hose from Goodland. This will be our first year with it, and I am absolutely in love with it (we picked Patina Green for the colour). We also got the nozzle, and shut off valve to make things easier for watering the garden.
Another month come and (almost) gone! May flowers are just around the corner, and I don’t know about you, but I am very ready… that being said, not quite ready for the intense heat of summer, but I’ll enjoy what I have for now!
