How I’m Decorating for Easter

The older I get, the more I fall in love with Easter, and Easter decor. Honestly, what’s not to love about bunnies, baby chicks, pastel eggs & carrots everywhere? It’s also a big sign to me that spring is on its way, and the warmer weather is upon us, so I can’t really help but love it, especially after yet another long, COVID winter. If you’re anything like me, you probably want to get some decor out to celebrate the season — so let’s talk about how I’ll be decorating for the Easter season!

In the Kitchen

The kitchen is the one room in the house that I feel like I am always cleaning… which probably means that I spend a good amount of time in there, so why not decorate it for Easter & make it feel a little more springy when you have to figure out what to make for dinner every night!?

In the Dining Room

Of course if the kitchen is decorated, I have to decorate the dining room too! Who doesn’t love the idea of eating dinner off a plate with the cutest little bunny plate on it and grabbing a napkin wrapped up in an Easter napkin ring?!

In the Living Room

Probably my favourite room to decorate for just about any season or holiday is the living room. Even though I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, the living room is where I’m at almost always, especially while working from home. I love the idea of all the soft, pastel colours in my living space & of course, cute little bunnies everywhere.

Are you planning on decorating for the season?! I love any excuse to decorate for a holiday, so I’ll absolutely be putting out some bunnies here & there. I hope you’re ready for some more fun Easter blogs coming at you real soon!

Until next time... Emily
